Post Script
When thinking of a title for this book I was advised against “New
Religion” by those thinking it was “too religious” sounding, and may “turn
people off”. This fear, or anticipated uncomfortable feeling, regarding
spirituality (“don’t be too committal, it may offend someone”) is one of the
underlying points of the book. I would almost prefer that the book was
published as being written by “anonymous”, because to me the beliefs and
concepts contained are far more important than who merely placed them on a
piece of paper, or the Internet--was a vehicle for their transmittal.
To me, the name fits so perfectly that I shied away from names like
“Life, for Dummies” (an obvious commercial exploitation of the “for
dummies” books), or “Rules of the Game”.
Indeed it is a “’How to’ Guide for Existence of this Planet”, which may
be a mouthful but which does hit the nail on the head, and explains quickly
what this book is about.
It is the result of much soul searching, meditating and reading on my
part, finding resonant bodies of thought, conversations and ceremonies with
Native American spiritualists and many clergymen through the years,
exploration of various religions and the belief systems of many cultures and,
lastly but most important to me, listening to the Universe, the voices inside,
assessing what has really worked and gotten results for me. It has been a
response to this constant, deep love and thankfulness I feel to
God/Universe/All that is.
A spiritualist friend told me recently, which gelled alot for me, that my
“numbers” (which if analyzed are said to reveal much about a person) say that
I have the number of the “messenger”. I immediately said “yes” that
explains it. That sums up my attempts to communicate and spread a message
of love, and other related positive messages, all my life, through music and
other means.
We all must deal with our conditioning, fear, and the physical mode of
thinking that third dimensional existence tempts us with. This has been the
best way for me, and as I have discovered, countless other people throughout
the ages.
I hope you enjoy it and that you make it work for you.
